Mary Bonauto is the Civil Rights Project Director of the New England-wide Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD).  She is a graduate of Hamilton College and Northeastern University School of Law.  Ms. Bonauto’s practice concentrates on impact litigation concerning the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons.  She litigates in the six New England states in both state and federal court.  Together with Beth Robinson and Susan Murray, she was co-counsel in Baker v. State of Vermont.  She serves on the Family Law Steering Committee of the Boston Bar Association, and is the North American Co-chair of the International Lesbian and Gay Law Association. Jennifer L. Levi is a staff attorney at Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD), New England’s leading legal organization working to ensure equal justice under law for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender people and people living with HIV/AIDS.  She is a graduate of Wellesley College and the University of Chicago Law School, was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and clerked for Judge Michael Boudin at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
